Once the United States of America started down this road of Cultural Marxism, the culmination point was always going to be Leftist Totalitarianism.
It just simply is not going to end well for the United States of America.
It's been here since at least '35. But began to show actual traction as far back as 1950.
Now it's like a pandemic throughout just about all of our critical institutions.
But even with its universal presence, few will venture or dare to call it by its name.
What is being discussed in this thread happened here considerably longer ago at UNO's Engineering School.
As a result, they came dangerously close to losing their accreditation.
Of course, one of the least discussed or mentioned instances around here.

In this end, it’s also anti-Asian.

Oh wow! I never would have thought that on my own. I guess that is why he is a U Penn professor. Thanks for the 150 IQ enlightenment.

A number of foreign med students are in because of big donations.

It's not just the future. Young doctors practicing today were in med schools with affirmative action standards.

I would take a black doctor from Africa over an American black who got an equity appointment.

I’ll take, “something everyone saw coming” for $500, Alex.

Why did they almost lose it....because they were being racist/sexist in admissions or was it judged on another standard?
I don't really know how to ask the question because I don't know how a school loses their engineering accreditation.

This has been going on for years, but is now accelerating rapidly. It’s sad to get updates on my school and residency, which were great at the time but are now woke and unrecognizable.

It took place in the same way as do most of these situations.
One of the higher-ups in the Department insisted that they needed more blacks as students of the discipline.
It started off with all the pomp, circumstance and good intentions.
Over time they realized it wasn't going to happen as planned unless they lowered the standards.
What eventually placed their accreditation in jeopardy.
Another validation of "the road to hell is paved with good intentions."
This was told to me by a Phi Beta Kappa of UNO, and who was instrumental in getting the Professional Writing curriculum instituted there.
My next door neighbor also taught Freshman exposition at the school.
Her sister taught Fine Arts there.
She won the contract to paint all those images of the sidewalks and street names of Orleans that have been exhibited in City Hall over a number of years now.
That is, if they're still up there.
Have wondered how long her artwork will be allowed to remain there - and if the now verboten names are still displayed there, or have they been conveniently "painted over."
Won't be going down there to check.
