you're being a dishonest clown now. Nobody is implying he shot a guy who had a rifle slung over his back.

I think cwill wants you to dodge the first one before you can return fire.

Nobody knows what the frick they're talking about "according to the sounds".

You been around an AK or an M4 when fired? Both have distinctive sounds, but both have unmistakable Military carbine sounds. An AK has a very distinctive sound.

So everyone saying the AK fired first ten the pistol can't tell the difference?

I've been around just about every firearm when fired and know that trying to discern what's what in a canyon of buildings is a fool's errand.

go the range and take off hearing protection when an AR is fired and when an AK is fired and let me know if your ears notice anything different.

That's pretty subjective and could lead to some pretty bad outcomes.

It doesn’t even matter. There is a police report that the dead terrorist pointed his weapon at the driver. We already knew his car was surrounded and being pounded on. The innocent driver was just protecting himself against imminent danger

Nah, all these open carry clowns these days are carrying with the chest-sling. I agree that at first blush this particular incident appears justified, but auggie was making the comment you shoot before the gun is being pointed.

I agree...it sounds justified and based on the testimony of all including the driver, the dead guy didn't shoot, just approached with gun. See my earlier post LINK.

dont shoot cwill says! peaceful ak protestor may have only been aiming for the tires on the vehicle! everything would have worked out fine for everyone if he just allowed his vehicle to be disabled.

It did for Mr "they're pussies".

I know you're just trolling, but if you would tell us what your threshold is. Do I have to be in his sight picture before I can shoot? Can I shoot when his finger is moving towards the trigger or do I have to wait until it's on the trigger and I see the first hint of finger flex?

Not at all...see all of my posts. I wasn't commenting about the specific incident, just auggie's comment.

If you approach my vehicle with a gun in your hand, and you don't let me know that your weapon is safe, or slung/holstered, without your hands on it, you WILL get shot. I can't read minds.

They sound exactly alike, roadgator.
given acoustics of a glass and concrete flanked downtown city block, and location of the recording mic, reliably discerning weapon type by sound would be very difficult. Without computer assistance and knowledge of the shooters location, it would be virtually impossible.

Exactly. Plus the witness testimony (including the driver) to date indicates all the twitter "experts" are yapping out of their asses.

Well, """witness""" testimony had the driver trying to run over Garrett's GF as he pushed her across the street in her w/c. Then as the driver missed, he shot poor Garrett to death in a drive-by instead. The communist animals making claims on camera and on twitter are liars!
