1218 is the number I’m seeing as well. NY showed a death count earlier today, then was removed, then a number added back very late. My guess is the discrepancy stems from that. World Meters is still showing Colorado’s number before the revised downward number as well.

There was definitely something weird with New York today. It was 130, then 0 then they added 172. But if you click on New York the county by county adds up to 260 at the top.

But None of that explains the nearly 400 difference in Chromes spreadsheet. Does he enter numbers manually or pull automatically from worldometers or another website.

I think I figured it out. Looks like worldometers retroactively added ~400 deaths today for sometime in the past which bumped the cumulative number up. Chrome subtracts the listed cumulative yesterday from today’s listed cumulative and therefore the extra deaths. So today’s number should be 1218 or similar but sometime in the past extra deaths were added.

WoM changed the last week of death numbers. Thanks for catching it for me. I've adjusted all mine to match.

Manually, so if they change something I only notice if I go back and compare the numbers or someone points something out.

At least deaths don't look to be bumping up.

Has any of the sites reflected Colorado’s move that dropped (by my math) 272 deaths as reported by various sources? Worldmeters site has not.

Excellent, thanks Chrome! You kick arse as always.

Glad to see another decline in 7 day average in deaths.

New cases were up over yesterday and last week. This is due to the # of tests 335K at a 5.9% positive rate. Last week's positive rate was 4.5% on 59K more tests.

Deaths were up from yesterday (Sunday) and down 57 from last week, a 5.4% decline.

Mortality is ticking downward but still at 5.93%

The 7-day rolling averages for new cases and deaths has flattened out. Hopefully, it will resume its downward journey; otherwise, it could be foreshadowing a rebounding of the spread.

Looking over some of the state data, I think tomorrow may have a smaller jump than the previous few weeks.

Yeah. Things may be leveling (i.e., R0 is steadying; deaths may steady within a few weeks), but I don’t think we’ve seen anything to suggest a “rebound.”

Definitely like the sound of that. I’ve been ready for a surprisingly low Tuesday for a while. What are you seeing?

I am getting annoyed with worldometers sight as sometimes numbers come out of nowhere and don’t make sense.

The official deaths released today for Louisiana was 12 but worldometers has 72. The total deaths for Louisiana is also over 100 more than it should be.

Louisiana tacked on another 60 or so "presumed" deaths...That's what I'm seeing from the La covid site.
