Little tidbit of information for you Bass(you seem interested in this figure).
Per official numbers released a few days ago, 35% of all Covid-19 deaths, in the state of Louisiana, are nursing home residents. They actually listed the nursing home names, number of residents, number of positives, number that died and the number of staff positive. It was eye opening and frankly, I wonder why it didn't make a bigger round on the local news. Some homes listed 81 residents and 80 positives...more than one like this.
I also spoke with a new co-worker who still works at one of the nursing homes...she says the number for her place is waaayyyy off...on the low side. I'm wondering if the homes are counting those that died after being transferred to the hospital.

Did you find LA state summary nursing home numbers somewhere? I have been following the Louisiana data in a spreadsheet for 6 weeks or so, including nursing homes and adult residential facilities. So of course this week they changed the format of their data presentation and instead of giving summary totals of nursing home data for the entire state, they put individual facility data in a large PDF file table, which makes it difficult to get into excel (funny how that seems to happen). Which means going forward I'll have to find some way to import a pdf table into Excel, or go through and do it all by hand.

Based on the information from the Arkansas Gov, almost 47% of our cases are either from Correctional Facilities or Nursing homes.

My best guess for Louisiana so far is about 41% of all deaths are from certified nursing homes and "adult residential facilities" (they report those two separately). The more interesting part is that every week that passes those two categories are contributing a larger percentage of Louisiana deaths.
For the last four Tuesday through Monday reporting periods, NH and ARF contributed 45%, 47%, 59%, and 65% (sequentially) of weekly Louisiana deaths according to my calculations (I did the last set of NH numbers in my head while running down the column of facilities, so it could be off).

One has 53 residents with 52 positives. I **think** that doesn't include the deaths at that home. I'm tied to it and can almost say that it 100% does NOT include the deaths.
I'm really wondering if it's spread through ventilation -- I mean I know it's not in Walmart/Lowes/etc but people are in and out and not LIVING there.

In the parish where I work, the nursing home deaths are 28 of the 35 for that parish reported as of 5/18. That's 80%.

That nursing home data in the pdf link is the data I used to calculate NH deaths for the week through Monday 5/18/20. Prior to that report, every week they had been providing a summary of total death numbers for the nursing homes, and separately for the adult residential facilities, which was easier to work with than the individual facility data in pdf format. It would've been nice if they'd chosen to include the column totals in that table.

Today showed a pretty serious spike upwards in cases with 6K more than yesterday and 934 more than last week. Testing was heavy at 408K with 6.2% positive, a 1% increase from yesterday.
Deaths were up as well, registering 15 more than yesterday, but 335 less than last week, a 19% decline.
Several states spiked upwards today, Arkansas registered it's most new cases ever for a day at 455. Hopefully, this won't continue.

I find this graph interesting, this is the 3 day weighted average of cases and deaths. Is the offset of the two curves indicative of the lag between diagnosis and death? If so it would seem to indicate that the lag is around 7-8 days.
