The U.S. is deeply troubled by continued Houthi attacks. We call on the Houthis to immediately cease attacks impacting civilian areas in Saudi Arabia & to halt any new military offensives inside Yemen, which only bring more suffering to the Yemeni people.

That slogan is almost as violent as make American great. I wonder how many guided tours they’ve been on

This is surprising and a good thing imo. Our involvement in Yemen has largely been at the behest of the Saudi's, who oppose the Shia Houthi's controlling Sanaa and the outlying territory. Stay out of that nightmare.

Agree but that’s not what this is about. I know you know that though so I’m preaching to the choir

This is not why Biden admin is doing it.

Biden is doing it as a big favor for Iran and will try to do as much as they can to roll back the gains the Trump Admin made against Iran.

Iran wants to hurt the saudis as much as possible and Biden will help them do that including removing the Houthi rebels from terror lists.

Iran is still the mideast's largest exporter of terrorism.

Why would you ever remove a group from a terrorist list that made it to a terrorist list? Is there a limit we have or something?

DISCLAIMER: totally rhetorical because we all know. What a shite show we are watching.

The terrorist attacks in this country committed by Muslims have been by Sunni radicals, most of whom are educated at madrasas funded by the Sunni Gulf States. If we have to choose an ally in that region, it should be Iran, who is currently fighting the very radical groups that have actually inflicted harm on Americans the past 20 years. But Iran is an enemy of this country for one primary reason: our political class is owned by the Israel lobby.

This will piss off the Gulf states that just put a number of unprecedented peace deals together, they are more or less an extension of other Iran state sanctioned terror cells.

Incredible

I'll bet that Biden couldn't spot Yemen on a map if you eliminated every country that doesn't begin with a "Y" for him.

Yeah, this is the second good thing Biden has done in office. Granted we’re both libertarians, so this will probably not be popular around here.
