There is an estimate of 20,000 faceless protesters that have been massacred on the streets.
This “guy” as you describe represents the countless number of people that have been kidnapped and tortured and killed.

Lol, still trying to spin it. The strikes against their nuclear facilities was perfectly timed and executed and set their program back decades. We know this because they are no longer part of the political discourse, thats how successful they were.

I think "we encouraged them and now we're going to abandon them" is a valid consideration for Trump's bravado, legacy, etc.
I think it should be zero consideration for US foreign policy in general and I loathe that emotional appeal from conservatives.
As far as I know this is not some cooked up revolutionary upswell we're primarily responsible for. Our statements of support over the course of a few days doesn't obligate us to take drastic action to decapitate a hostile state.

I wonder if the Iranian regime is more resilient than we give it credit for. But I do think if they do fall, the most likely scenario is the IRGC filling in and turning the country into a state like Egypt.
