It doesn’t occur to you that hispanics and Asians identify more as white? You’d have 13% of the population against 87%. And the 87% has 99.9% of the innovation.

this makes more sense than any other theory I’ve seen. it does amuse me that they assume 100% lockstep with the men in those nations with guns.
it’s purely anecdotal, but the fleeting conversations I have with my not so long lost cousins in the Fatherland, is that they’re about one more stupid thing happening away from becoming us

That is a Sherman Firefly. During World War II the original Sherman had a 75 mm shorter barreled relatively low velocity cannon which had a very hard time penetrating the armor of the panzers of the time like the panther and the tiger et cetera. So the British took their excellent 17 lb Ordinance quick firing anti tank cannon turned it sideways, chopped a hole in the back of the Sherman turret and welded a box to it for the radio, which would have been crushed by the recoil stroke of the larger gun. They also had to do away with one crew member the hull machine gunner so they could store enough rounds to be effective.
The Germans hated it for good reason because it was very effective against the panther and the tiger. Unortunately they weren't enough for them to go around, only 1 or 2 assigned to each regular Sherman troop. It also had a disadvantage because the much longer barrel made it very obvious to the Germans which tanks they need to take out 1st.
