Unite the World

Hear me out.
The USA, China and Russia form a coalition to rule the world. The US rules from Hawaii in the West to Iceland in the East. All of Canada and all the way south to Chile.
Russia takes all of Europe.
China all of Asia. Includes India, Pakistan and Afghanistan.
The three countries split up Africa and the rest of the middle east.
Get everything stabilized and start focusing on interstellar travel.
Enough with the petty wars.

The opposite would happen. You think 192 countries are just going to give up their sovereignty 5 (6) of them having nuclear weapons? Control would be essentially impossible.
LOL, you just started WWIII right there. Iceland is geographically half American and half European and mainly Euro in culture. You think Russia and China would just give up control of the northern passages?

It’s taken us 50 years to travel one light day. After the Sun, the next nearest “stella” is about 4 light years away. Assuming we could achieve near light speed, that’s still an 8 year round trip.
