Almost all of them you encounter are unqualified. Either struggling door law lawyers or government lawyers that were hidden away from real work.

This is why the whole criminal justice/bond reform was bullshite. They weren’t trying to protect some bum who supposedly was just stealing a candy bar(for the 50th time). It was to put these pieces of shite back out on the street soon as possible.
State legislatures need to get off their asses and start rewriting their criminal laws. Choking a family member should include automatic jail time.
In fact no more probation for anything violent.
