Why argue amongst ourselves. Can we just call them WoPs? (Without Papers)
This origin of the term is actually an urban legend. The real etymology is more interesting. The source is a southern Italian dialectal word, guappu, meaning “dandy.”” (in the sense that we use “dude”). That, in turn, is likely from the Spanish word guapo meaning “handsome” or “bold,” imported to Sicily when the island was occupied by Spain. Southern Italian immigrants used the term for one another. It stuck.

I hope Abbott starts cracking the whip. Lots of companies here in Texas are currently participating in that practice.
I here you are also quite the fiscal conservative around here. I imagine your against the Fed gov giving out subsidies right?
I hope they stop giving oil and gas companies subsidies. It’s been going on for far to long.
