Okay crazy4lsu, I admit, you got under my skin with your juvenile insults and I am pissed at myself for trying to take you serious.
Now, if you have the balls, tell us.
What are your professional accomplishments, if any?
Pay grade?
If you had to choose between Biden, or Trump. which would it be?
You always have a lot to say, so what say you?
Or are you too chicken shite to respond?
Punk!!!
You going to let someone call you out publicly and not respond?
Punk

And Russia is far more European than asiatic in every way. Economic, cultural, religious.

In what way are they aligned?
I suppose I should have said they should be. Russia’s goals and our own are not mutually exclusive. We both want a mutually beneficial relationship with Europe. We’re both threatened by Chinese military expansion in the Western Pacific and the arctic.
Russia is not an inherent enemy of the United States.

I always read Patton quotes in George C. Scott's voice from the 1970 movie.

In one sense, it isn't surprising that a revanchist regime came to power after a hegemonic period. For all the talk of history repeating, that is also a historical pattern we've seen in Europe specifically. I'm less convinced that the West is solely responsible for that or that the West shares more culpability than the Russians themselves.

Anyone want to deny that the the USA/CIA is preparing to nuke Russia BEFORE Russia launches a single nuke?
Posted on 6/18/24 at 8:35 pm to RiverCityTider
The hand-wringing over limp-dicked Russia is comical. They can't do anything to the US in a conventional war, except launch nukes which would suck, but there's no way they sign their own extinction order.

What a weird comment. Russia is not threatening the USA. Meanwhile, the USA is launching strikes within Russia.
You people will come to regret your WILFUL ignorance. You know you're full of shite and you can't admit it.

Those limp dicks took on 100 German Wehrmacht divisions, lost 20 million people. and then drove them all the way back to Berlin. Eight percent of the German Army fought on the eastern front. Eighty percent who died, died in the east.
So the US and Britain fought 20% of the German Army.
The Russians then killed over a million Japanese soldiers in a month in Manchuria.
The United States has around 200,000 troops in Europe. Maybe 50,000 combat troops could be fielded in Ukraine. Putting 50,000 American troops in Ukraine would lead to the worst defeat in US military history. Even the new world order scum that currently runs this country, in the midst of their wildest fantasy, would not be dumb enough to put our troops there. The resulting loss of life would so shock and anger the American people that they would demand retribution.
America has a fine, professional military. It's navy is the world's finest. It's airforce is probably the world's most powerful. But American is not a Europe land power.
The US will fight to the last Ukrainian. That's it.

I'm not here to dispute the notion that the Russians did the heavy lifting in Europe, but this figure is absurdly false. The Soviets entry in the Pacific theatre certainly paid a big part in Japan's choice to go ahead and surrender, but they did not kill anywhere close to a million Japanese, or even a tenth of that number. Their impact on the Japanese was more psychological than anything--the Japanese realized that the USSR wasn't going to play negotiator for peace talks.

I've said it a few times, but Andrei Martyanov (former Soviet Navy guy living in the U.S.) has an interesting blog.
LINK
He respects the U.S. Navy a lot, but laughs at the U.S. when it comes to continental warfare and says the U.S. would get worked in real peer-peer warfare, not an Iraq turkey shoot. He is always posting about Kinzhal this, Kalibr that, Zircon this, Onyx that.
