Sorry but Russia started the war. They have to expect their military sites will be attacked in the war.
I will not apologize for Russia.
I will not apologize for Russia.

I also think that there is antipathy towards Ukraine because of Trump’s first impeachment. They blame Ukraine for it, even though Zelensky said that Trump did nothing wrong. Also the Russia Collusion Hoax.
It’s happened on the Left too. Leftists who were the biggest apologists for the former USSR and sought to undermine US foreign policy throughout the Cold War, are now rabidly pro-Ukraine.

That is the plan. Of course it also involves 2-3 decades of ongoing Ruso-Ukraine war.
Russia should never have started something they couldn’t finish. Maybe they will learn a lesson here.

Meddling is an American tradition.

jhat affairs do we have in Ukraine?

Yes and our own affairs are global now. What happens in most places impacts the US. Stabbing Ukraine in the back and not backing them against Russia hurts our credibility in the world community. We can’t let that happen.

"our affairs are now global" gives you an excuse to overturn every nation on earth.

Technically, he was meddling in England's affairs.

Officially he meddled in ours.

Ukraine is going to lose territory from this conflict, and there is nothing the US can do about it short of going to war with Russia.
Delaying the inevitable is stupid at this point. There is no amount of 45 year old M1A1's we can give them that will change what the outcome will be.
Kiev needs to come to the table while they still at least have the leverage of prolonging Russia's campaign.

Refusal to dialogue is about as unserious as it comes. You say you are not into blood lust.
Am I the one negotiating? Personally I am fine with talking to anyone, but we are discussing geopolitics. And the reality is that Russian demands from December 2021 to now have not changed. There are instances where the Russians have refused to negotiate when the proposed peace plans have no included new territories, such as the Chinese plan offered in March of 2023.
You are being very very very selective with what information you choose to remember, and you seem to be hellbent on assuming the worst of the West and the best of the Russians. The reality is that any territorial concession is a complete non-starter internationally. You want the Ukrainians to agree to something which has not been agreed since the end of WW2, and not only that, apparently it is okay for the Russians to dictate the terms of Ukraine's foreign policy after they invaded, which is an insane position.
And you also seem to make the mistake that I personally am involved in this conflict. Mentioning that I don't think that the Russians are serious about peace because of the consistency of their demands for the past 3 years is my opinion of their seriousness. And given that they are planning for a future in which there is antagonism between Russia and the West, that adds to my suspicion of the lack of seriousness of the Russians.

Okay already. Between the smart asses and dumb asses here, it is clear it is time to choose a side, until Trump ends this, that is. If he isn't JFKd first.
Time to give them Orcs HELL boys, (and girls). Unleash our super bad arse military alliance, (US), and marvel at some shock and awe.
Lets go! I'm right behind you.
Slava Ukraine...

Complete insanity. There is no legitimate reason for the use of force in these instances.

Except they made demands of the US at the same time. Why don't you talk about those or is it another aspect of this conflict for which you are not aware?

The former US generals I watch on YouTube are not in agreement with you. Who should I believe? Do you work for the military? If you do I'll listen closely.
