You realize this is the Russian position, correct?

The same Russians proposing peacetalks? You're obviously entitled to your own opinion, but not your own created facts.

This is always hilarious.

Oh the peaceful Russia.

1. Invade a sovereign country
2. Get pushed back and then stuck in a quagmire
3. Offer “peace” which involves getting everything they want without having to continue fighting
4. Become the good guy in the eyes of the poli board.

The peace terms they offer show they are not serious. They haven't changed in 3 years and include stipulations which no country will ever agree. And regardless, does it look like the Russian government is preparing for, given their long term spending plans.

The next two to four decades are going to be defined by this conflict, regardless of what actually occurs on the battlefield. Both sides are not preparing for peace.

Exactly right. Russia didn’t start anything. They just react to perceived threats by invading their neighbors just because. That is the BS they spread here.

However, by comparison to the US? You seriously want to go there?

People who hate America are always dragging it into foreign conflicts that have little do to with us.

Refusal to dialogue is about as unserious as it comes. You say you are not into blood lust. Define victory for Ukraine, because you seem to support the Potatobrain approach and the steaming manure pile it created. Though they won't admit it, Potatobrain's Administration would define victory as perpetual war using Ukraine fodder to drain Russia of blood and treasure.

Whose example should they follow?
Grenada, Panama, Iraq, Afghanistan, Libya, Somalia, and others want to know.

So Russia has a legitimate reason to invade Chechnya, Georgia, Crimea and Ukraine because the US is bad? They have a blank check to do as they wish?

Russia had been militaristic for years. They have been attacking, defending, and warring with nations on all their borders. It can’t be just bad luck and you can’t blame the US because we weren’t involved in starting all these wars.

Russia had options besides war. As late as December of 2021 they rejected a treaty keeping Ukraine out of NATO. They chose war. Blaming the US for their bad choice is nonsense.

No.

We've stayed busy with our own. However, we are talking about Ukraine in this instance. Sans US meddling and the NATO threat, Ukraine would be at peace and intact today.

After Minsk and with the join NATO engine running wide-open, Ukraine would not have been believable even if such a treaty had been in the offing.

Why do you want us involved?
