What was his invasion to the North? Fairy dust. He was on the outskirts of Kyiv. A day away? Was that a grand fake? No. Russia got counterattacked and lost the entire northern push all the way back into Russia. Just look at upper right map. Almost to Kyiv and then lost it all north of Kharkiv. Posters think this was planned and brilliant. Well no. Russia got close to ending the war early as planned and failed. Now they hold the south like iron. I am no fan of either combatants in this war. But being critical of Russias war plans is NOT being pro Ukraine JFC

Blitzkrieg Russian style. That’s four miles a week. They just captured Avidika and it’s only about 400 or so miles to Kiev.
Russia should be at the gates of Kiev in March of 2026.

Ukraine is going to have to come to the table sooner than later. And it’s going to include territorial concessions.

I’ll grant you that, but Russia isn’t capable of annexing the whole country, or administering it. Everything west of the Dnieper (outside of Mykolaiv and Odessa oblasts) have no interest in anything to do with Russia.
Even if they took Kiev, the Russians aren’t stupid enough to try and take or hold Lviv, etc. it doesn’t make sense for them.
