Ukraine Sanctions would crush Putin

Russia shredded the NATO-Russia Founding Act in 2014 when it invaded Crimea and annexed Donbas. While it may well be that Ukraine is being used as a distraction while Putin attempts to fracture alliances among EU states, and between the EU and the US, and to get a firsthand look at how they and NATO will individually and collectively respond to military provocation, the fact remains that if you give him an inch, he will take an acre.
It's time to begin sanctioning him and his oligarch pals personally, and making the people of Russia aware that their overclass has looted trillions of dollars that were their patrimony and put it in banks in Malta and Panama and Cyprus. Freeze those funds and use them to put a bounty on the heads of Putin, his plutocrats, and his military leaders. Then seize real estate, ships, planes, artwork, jewelry, gold and bank accounts belonging to the plutocracy, ship their relatives in the West back home, declare them persona non grata, and cut off their access to US$ by eliminating Russia from the SWIFT system. If Putin somehow remains in power, he can negotiate for the return of each dollar or diamond for the rest of his time in office.
Putin has stolen so much from his country that it is bankrupt except for its many oligarchs. The teetering country has Putin trying to distract and solve his countries woes so that stealing Ukraines assets seems like a great idea. Problem is he is spending his last few bucks on moving his vast army around. So Biden is saber rattling with sending a handful of troops to Romania and making Putin spend even more billions. This is a US type of war. Not a bunch of guys in rags and tunnels but Russians with tanks and troops. Easily identified and sitting ducks as targets. Biden is daring Putin to attack. He will lose his army in the mud and countryside of Ukraine. Much intelligence inside Russia suggests the Russian people are against this invasion.
And Russia's military is so shot that its ONLY aircraft carrier can't participate - it's in repairs and there are no parts.

You are a moron.
Putin supplies natural gas to all of Europe since in their wisdom they decided to go green and turn off their coal plants.
It’s February. How do you think this plays out if Europe can’t heat their homes in the middle of the winter?

Is that why Biden lifted them?
Makes you wonder why he ignored everything and removed them anyway.

Oh and Germany can’t even field aircraft right now because they stopped funding their military sometime around 2008.
Without the US there is no NATO in 2022.

Putin shut down our pipeline last year, E. It was for a short time, but the vulnerability scenario was clear.
If what you say re Putin is true, then he is in a corner, and won't back down. He knows that Infrastructure damage in the US would virtually pit OUR OWN citizenry against each other. Thanks to Biden, Obama and the Dems divide and conquer class division strategy.
And if Xi goes at the same time...WHICH one do we target? One and not the other? Russia, but not China? And with Hunter's Laptop still out there.
Sanctions is one thing...war is another.

Stop lying. Germany has greatly increased military funding in the past 14 years (since 2008).
Last year they spend 53 Billion on it. In 2008 it was less than 40 billion.

What will be more impactful?
Sanctions against Russia
Russia cutting off the pipelines to Europe
Putin will demand that all sanctions are dropped before he will turn the pipelines back on. The West does not have a winning hand here no matter what the media wants to say

They were ordered to by NATO. Germany had not funded their liabilities for years. Russian Speaking East Germans did Putin's dirty work for him.

Did you wake up in a country that doesn't have a President named Biden?
Posted on 2/12/22 at 8:18 pm to Eurocat
IMHO, Biden is owned by the CCP and Russia. The fact that leftists believe otherwise is both comical and sad.

Russian Oligarch pals? Compared to those thugs in Ukraine, the Russians look like Denmark.

Why are you running???
Biden removed sanctions. So you just admitted that he enabled what is happening now. JUST LIKE HE WAS WARNED ON.
