I'm honestly surprised Russia hasn't used nukes yet. They are a nuclear power..and they are at war. And their war isn't like our wars, where we can frick around in other countries overseas without any real risk of those countries attacking us within our borders. No, their war has real risks of their opponent attacking within their borders.
It'll be depressing if we adhere to the same standards we hold Russia to. Cause we are always fricking with other countries... ..and if one of them starts targeting us within our borders, I'd want our nation to respond with fire and fury... and not be held to the rules other countries set.

Well the difference is the US is more powerful than Russia, thus we set the rules.

Russia started the war and should have expected a few hard knocks. Ukraine should have hit mainland Russia sooner. Russia will win this, but one question is how much Ukraine will make them pay.
