Ted Cruz, in AN UNCONTESTED GOP primary, has more votes (1.43 mill) than every dem combined in a contested dem primary.

Cruz has 1.43 mil

All dems: 900k

To be fair....dem turnout is up nicely since 2014, but lower than it was in 2008

Dems are going to get a lower % of total vote (39%) tonight than hillary clinton got in texas (43%)

What I love is that Beto is giving up his seat in Congress to lose this race killing his rising star

Beto has his work cut out for him, but should be an interesting race.

Wait are people actually trying to convince themselves that Cruz is going to lose?

I would say it's a strawman, but I'm not sure they were talking about Cruz specifically or a couple seats in the house in Texas...

Either way the generality of bluing Texas has been said....just not sure if specific to Cruz.

The media/dems push this kind of stuff hoping to get Republicans to not turnout. They try it mostly with Florida...they'll make it seem like early Florida voting is so heavy in favor of the Dem that Republicans in the panhandle don't bother voting.
