I actually hope this ends the ridiculous "Champ goes to White House" silliness. I don't care if they DO go. I mean that I am ready for it to not "mean" anything.

Correct. Being a dem is "cool" for celebrities and athletes because it represents the rich helping the poor.
Unfortunately most are too ignorant to realize dem policies actually worsen the economy and harm the very same people they try to help.

And the way to stop the protests is to not play the anthem before sporting events. It should be reserved for important events...and that makes it more revered and special, when it isn't played at every game that involves a ball.
It only began to be played at baseball games because we were at war and it was played during the 7th inning stretch during WWI.
And it continued to only be played when we were at war...it wasn't after WWII that it became an institution outside of wartime.
