What was Abe supposed to have done, ridden around on some 22’s on his wagon?

For a school with such a high academic profile, they apparently seem to admit some real retards.

Would this happen to be an athlete?

Some KKK members should go up there in their robes and help the BLM protestors bring down the statue......

Well.....they aren't wrong. Abe in his own words said he would save the union and not free the slaves if he could. He only cared about murdering americans and saving the union. That was it.

Saying that if there was anyway to avoid war, including the continuation of slavery, he would do it has put him on the shite list with BLM.

Some of us have tried telling folks here that the Civil War was fought over much, much more than just slavery.

Maybe you’re beginning to see it.

It sounds like a scene from the movie I’m Gonna Git You Sucka where the black supremacist’s extremely Aryan kids did their report on Lincoln and called him “po white trash who manipulated the black man’s freedom for his own ends before he got shot in the head by another piece of po white trash.”

I mean, it’s true. Lincoln was a legitimate racist. He thought that black people weren’t as good or equal to the white race. Same as most people of the time. Really, the only difference in opinion during that time was whether they should be seen as property or not.

Abe did whatever needed to be done to win the war...he didn’t give a shite about blacks.

Lincoln, like nearly everyone in his time period was very racist. Radical Quakers, and there weren’t a lot of them, were probably the only people with anything like a modern attitude on race.

Lincoln wanted to send the former slaves back to Africa. And so in that sense certainly wasn’t pro Black.

He wasn’t even anti-slavery at first. He was going to let the South keep their slaves, he just didn’t want it to expand to the West.

The man wore a top hat as every day wear. Seems pretty "pro-black" to me.

He wasn’t “pro-Constitution,” either. I’m fine with them taking down his statue.
