Exactly, we agree...I was saying as much in my post!

quote:

the laws/interpretations of the laws allow for tyranny of the minority in this PC climate

So what.

So what? You were the one acting as if those in the group of 70% were unable to be oppressed and what I said makes it clear that we have a climate today that allows for the minority to oppress the majority so then it really matters not whether the group being targeted for oppression is 70% or 99.9%...if they are being targeted and "picked upon", they are being targeted and picked upon, mostly by manipulation of the law in this case.

Wrong. Saying they aren't being "oppressed" and saying they can't be "oppressed" are not the same.

Funny though no Christian bakers / artists / pastors take any stance against people who divorce for non-biblical reasons and remarry.
You apparently never went to the church my family went to when I was growing up. A staff member was asked to resign when she divorced her husband. If you or your wife were in a second marriage it was widely understood that you were not eligible to be a deacon.

Just to be clear, you're comparing mass genocide to someone getting fined for sexual identity discrimination.
Sure.

But the point is that just because something is made law, does not make it moral or ethical to abide it.

I generally believe people should be held to account for what they have done and the laws they have broken.
Those who stood up and refused to abide immoral systems such as slavery and/or racial discrimination are called heroes.

You disagree?

Abiding by laws that cause direct harm to a marginalized race is honorable?

Maybe?

This is only correct for one.

I'll give you two guesses as to which is correct.
