The problem isn't whether MSNBC or Fox is biased. The problem is when news outlets pretend to be unbiased while injecting their politics into the story to sway viewers.
It's even more of a problem when it is a platform doing it that has more power than any newsroom while at the same time pretending to be unbiased.
Some enterprising person needs to come up with an alternative to Twitter that is unbiased. It's not the government's job to police Google and Twitter to ensure they are fair to all political views.

Eta: But applying the rules differently is different than targeting. They should try to control that.

Wasn't O'Keefe sued recently over the selling baby parts video and the judge/jury found that he while he edited his videos for brevity, they found that he didn't alter the video in order to mislead the viewers as to the intentions of the people in the video.
In other words, if you have hours and hours of video, the vast majority of it stays on the cutting room floor. He included the most dramatic statements, for sure, but he didn't take it out of context.
