Tuskegee experiment

The same government that's responsible for essentially giving African americans advanced stage syphillis is accusing its citizens of racism and white supremacy. Oh the irony. Projection much?
Oh and I'm supposed to trust the recommendations of the organizations, CDC and Dept of Health, responsible for such an atrocity? Those people trusted that they were getting safe and effective treatment only to develop neurosyphillis 30 years later.
But hey, theres always the hope that my government has become honest and truly altruistic in the span of 49 years.
If you asked 10 african american millennials, how many do you think would even know about the Tuskegee experiment?

How many would know about the Tuskegee Airmen?

Great point.
Why so many black Americans are beholden to the all-powerful State boggles my mind.
An ancillary point is that Jim Crow Laws were the result of State-mandated discrimination, NOT the free market.

I make a similar argument with native people regarding blind faith in government. As my wife’s grandmother’s bumper sticker on her 1975 Cadillac El Dorado said, you can trust the government. Ask an Indian.

I would suggest that your sample size is exceptionally small compared to mine.
As such, I would put the percentage at about 35.0%...seriously.

Bingo! I’ve brought this point up to several times to people who have said “trust the science” and “listen to the experts.” You can’t call me a conspiracy theorist for refusing a vaccine when stuff like this actually went down. You don’t know what complications will happen down the road.
