the government wants me, as a free white American, to be afraid of them. The fricking president told me so live on tv in front of God and country. I will move along now.

I don’t doubt there are Israeli spies in Turkey but this shithead already faked one coup to get rid of the opposition.

Claiming that people he wants to eliminate are Israeli agents just seems awfully CONVEEEEEENIENT.

Anything to distract from Israel's misdeeds, I guess. Once again, assuming Turkey's claims are legit, it is terrorism for Israeli spies to be hunting Hamas in Turkey and they have every right to round up the spies and arrest them.

If England was in the U.S. killing Italians or hunting Italians, it would be terrorism, no?

Saudi Arabi killed a Washington Post reporter in Turkey, on the orders of the Crown Prince. So they are already pissed about that.

turkey is a shite hole, that is not an ally, they turn on us any chance they get.

Israel is a useful ally, nothing more. They are behind our horrendous political system, and have done a lot of damage to America, internally and abroad.

They also spy on us, and killed our sailors

And we know Israel would never do something so underhanded or shady.

It's one thing to say I understand how Israel is doing the things they do. It's another to pretend like it's cool because they're Israel and how dare you question their underhanded tactics. We would be outraged if someone came into our country and pulled that level of shenanigans. Turkey is welcome to defend its sovereignty and its allies. I'm not getting worked up over it.

If they don't care that Epstein was running a kiddie diddling camp to bribe US politicians for mossad, then they surely don't care about this.

Turkey has the largest standing army in the region and is the the #1 drone & UAV manufacturer in the world. No shite for them. They drew a red line months ago and Israel crossed it. FAFO.

Saudi Arabia killed an opposition terrorist who was hired by the Washington post to write hit jobs against Saudi Arabia regime. He was not a journalist. Fact.

That’s a good question.

Erdogan has Islamist tendencies.

Turkey has been drawn further into an anti Israel orbit with the recent Gaza operation.

Turkey has split from the US In refusing to promote a proxy war in Ukraine and push an anti Russian agenda. Turkey has issues with the Kurds, of course, who we routinely use as pawns. Turkey has bought Russian weapons, including missile systems, in expressed defiance of the US. We have canceled Turkey’s F 35 orders. Turkey has and continues to push for peace negotiations in Ukraine in defiance of our goals. Turkey has refused to permit Sweden’s admittance to NATO.

There are a lot of issues in the complex US Turkey relationship. We keep nuclear weapons in Turkey. And their strategic location, in proximity to Europe, Asia, Africa, the Mediterranean, the gatekeepers of the Black Sea, I think necessitates our tolerance of Erdogan.

I don’t think we have the capability to overthrow him with one of our trademark coups. If we could, we would have already done so. We may reach a point where we really try to do so, though.

What's that got to do with the price of an Israeli spy in Istanbul?
