Does this make it better? Or worse ? That they use city time and money to promote a satanic agenda is enough for me to deride the whole council’s actions. I’m not against religion in any way but also don’t think promoting deviant behavior is acceptable let alone in the public arena

Yes paganism predates Christianity and is the reason God gave us Christ. But paganism and satanic worship are a bit different right

I agree 100%. And I have news for all the pearl clutchers, Christianity is simply paganism with one central god and set of beliefs. It was created to control a populace and has been unbelievably effective. Too difficult to control people when everybody believed something different. Also too difficult to completely change belief systems. Hence pagan holidays being relabeled as Christian.

Disagree. Witches casting spells is evil. Satan worship is evil. It's all the same. They might not go full Satan because of not wanting to be shunned by society so they stay in that little space that makes them comfortable

Lucifer's gambit to be equal to God got Him/It booted from Heaven and He believes that is unfair. And wants equal 'justice'. The whole DEI thing is based on this false 'equality' principle, which is ludicrous on its face and will never stand the consequential test of time.
In the realm of 'Individuals' there well never be equality, nor should there be. In Heaven, of course there is perfect Unity/Equality, because there is no 'Self' to differentiate. "He that seeks to save their self, will lose..." (Jesus's statement of Universal Truth/The Word).
"War in Heaven (philosophical realm) and on Earth". For the souls of all.

Paganism was the result of 'descendants' departing the orginal one-God faith, and adopting a polytheistic belief system. In fact, the term Paganism isnt even found until the 4th century, and it was coined by Christians

Celebrating murdering babies outside the DNC, changing kid’s sex through chemical and physical mutilation, hedonistic parties to push for alphabet normalization and forced adherence or you lose your job, demonic symbolism in Hollyweird everywhere you look, Diddy parties, missing children everywhere, especially as a result of a deliberate porous border, and outright praying to Satan.
Not quite your average run of the mill election cycle, would you say?

Not by yourself, Dad, but as much as any of us in the citizenry are responsible for setting government limits.
In any case, people in the category I described certainly have no room to complain.
But it sounds like you ARE one of those people who advocate for prayer in public spaces, stupidly expecting it to magically always be prayer that you agree with, so I shouldn't expect too much from you intellectually.
