Red blooded Americans don’t want to “fight a war.” The truth is some enemies can’t be defeated in our current age. But we do have to “fight terror.” Time will tell if this strike results in a long term conflict. I pray that it doesn’t. But we did not go looking for terror. It came to us. And yes, we will fight.

Classic SJW tactic there, devoid of any kind of nuance as to our respective positions. Shouldn't be surprised at this Rules for Radicals type of comment, as the neocons have influenced Republican foreign policy for a generation, and the neocons are nothing more than ex-Trotskyists.

Oh good grief.

You’re confusing our genuine and very real war with Sunni jihadists, with the Shia in Iraq, who only pose a threat, because we’ve chosen to maintain a large military presence in Iraq.

We could be sitting on our hand at home, and the Sunni jihadists would still target us.

That’s not true of the Shia.

We kicked Sunni arse. And I don’t believe they are our friends, but they do somewhat align against the Shia and it is an uneasy truce, to use the term very loosely.

And if you think Shia “death to America/Israel” Iran regime lead by khomeini is a peaceful government, then dude, your education sucked donkey ween. but if you take some time and watch the right videos on YouTube you can reducate yourself- and in the meantime feel free to embarrass yourself.

• The United States isn’t Israel. We have no obligation to defend them. They know how take of themselves, and they don’t need us.

Going to war on their behalf is a foolish exercise.

• Iran’s ambitions are regional, and pose no threat to us.

The only scenario where they do threaten us, is if we try and maintain a longterm presence in Syria and Iraq. But neither of those occupations serve a US strategic interest.

And Mexico besieged the Alamo, once upon a time.

I don’t mean to be glib with that example. But Iran has changed. They no longer use terrorism as a weapon, as they once did. And they’re not about to seize one of our embassies.

I respectfully disagree with Tucker. He is worried about an "emotional" response from Iran. If Iran did not want us to step in they should have defended our Embassy before we had to ask. Hezbollah is the fricking devil. They needed to be dealt with. This was the perfect excuse.

God almighy,I get it already. You blame KSA and the Sunnis continually for ALL ME terror but somehow give the Shiites and Iran a continuous pass.

Oh I forgot Israel is to blame as well.There...did we cover all your talking points?

BTW,how many more billions should BHO have put in their treasury.Im sure you were all about that deal

Dude is married to an Iranian chick or something. His argument is emotional. It’s just dressed up with some garland to cover it.

The KSA is a medieval state that promotes and exports jihadism across the globe.

They, and their ideology, pose a genuine threat to our security.

The Shiites, they generally don’t care about us. And that has a lot to do with how they’ve adapted their faith to modernity, unlike the Sunni who have refused to.

Iran has factories and makes things. Saudi Arabia does not.

Traditional Sunnis look back to the 8th century for answers. The Shia are far more flexible.

Genocide? That’s hyperbole, and it’s not a statement you can support.

I can imagine what you’ll call terrorism too. Perhaps their support for the Houthi, or Lebanese Hezbollah.

Neither groups engage in terrorism.

Tucker is right that the Deep State has been pushing for war with Iran for at least a decade or more.

They've found a way to make it happen I guess.

They do this all the time..

What is the difference now? You act like it is some revelation Iran organizes militias against us . Some epiphany from above like a ray of light.

This is theater bring sold for political points, period, end of discussion.

Wag the Dog. Works every damn time.

And show me the Intel. And then show me how we aren't doing the same shite.
