They aren't there to benefit you in the short term, in fact they are going to hurt a little. The Tarriffs are there to bring China to the table and have leverage. That's why Trump put Tarrifs on China and every other country they might use to bypass the Tariffs to get goods into the USA.
If they can't get China to the table and come up with a fair trade deal, we are hosed long term..The country is hosed long term. Eventually, the dollar won't mean crap to the rest of the world and China will be the world Super Power if we don't do something now. That's the trajectory. We will just be another 3rd world crap hole along with the rest of the West.
We lost manufacturing jobs altogether and outsource STEM jobs or bring foreigners here to take them. We gotta start bringing manufacturing back and the STEM jobs for the next generation, or call it a day..

That's because you only care about yourself. Those tariffs are going to provide jobs to real Americans. Take a look at the economy. It's a boomin' and it is only going to get bigger.

We make steel in this country .Theres massive steel mills right here in Mobile County that make stainless. There's mills all over this country. Be honest. We are the third largest producer on the planet and we could do more.
