LINKTrump's 'Public Charge' Plan 'Jeopardizes' Health, Groups Say

“The Trump administration's proposal to potentially deny permanent residency to immigrants if they've applied for or have received a number of public benefits will cause millions to drop out of Medicaid and would likely lead to thousands turning away from needed healthcare, public health officials and physician groups said.”

“In a joint statement, the American Academy of Family Physicians, the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP), the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, the American College of Physicians, and the American Psychiatric Association said that the proposal means that rather than face potential deportation, "many of the patients served by our members almost certainly will avoid needed care from their trusted providers, jeopardizing their own health and that of their communities."

I really do feel like I’m taking crazy pills sometimes. Time to cut them off the public tit. Of course they would be afraid of being deported - they are here illegally! Crazy pills...

To hell with those medical, socialist-authoritarian bureaucratic fiefdoms.

I have absolutely no problem with that. If I'm not allowed to have an influence on the lifestyles of those individuals then I certainly have no remorse in denying them healthcare at an exorbitant cost to me.

Libs always want to start the argument at point B versus point A. If they were not here in the first place there would be no argument.

By the way, its not that they give a shat about them, they care that the health system cant milk the federal medical benefits cow.

Or those "trusted providers" could treat them for free or next to nothing, if they are truly concerned. Personally I think those organizations members real concern is for their wallets.

Exactly, this is about Sugar Uncle Sam pulling the tit out their mouth, they could do it for free if they so wished and are so concerned about it.

I don’t care. Breaking the law has consequences, no matter how long you got away with it.

They say this like it's a bad thing.

They can go back to their country.

America doesn't have the money to openly fund the globe in some sort of border free socialist utopia.

Trump: I want to help Americans and America

MSM: Trump is a monster who doesn't care about our globalist agenda! He must be stopped! Everyone band together against him!

America in 2016: frick the fake news. Long live President Trump

It has yet to cease to amaze me how open and public the democrats are about being globally socialist to the detriment of our country and citizens.

That’s ok. Republicans don’t understand public health. They will endanger themselves and their families if it will also make another segment of the population suffer. The suffering of newcomers is paramount. We don’t have to understand how disease spreads among the population. Germs and viruses will only attack the newcomers, right?

Astounding ignorance and obnoxious false equivalency.

America does not have unlimited money and resources for anyone who wants to show up at our doorstep. Reality is not a place you and your ilk occupy.

LowTBoy,

Historically your posts have been so retarded and meaningless that I stopped reading them. I see your name and think, Skinny jeans, beard, receding hairline and an angry wife.

You’ve become the stereotypical NPC. That’s potentially narrow minded on my part, on the off chance you make a good point.

Then again, that will never happen. So I’ll just laugh at you.

You do know that there is nothing stopping you from contributing all you wish to this cause?

How much did you pony up last year?

It is always amazing to me that the people who think that providing free health insurance, education, food and shelter to millions of poor people, are the same people who think a one time expense of $25B on a structure is too expensive.

We understand it quite well. You want to make the U.S. the world's charity hospital. You do know what happens at charity hospitals don't you?

I'll give you a hint - toe tags.

Wait a cotton picking minute. Illegals can’t get public benefits. That’s what we’ve been told for years.
