Still can't figure out why Trump even stayed in America. Should have moved to Russia a long time ago.

And you have friends that take it up the butt?

What do we assume from that?

BTW: CNN's graphic showing all the ties from Trump to Russia is comical, they quit showing it.

The one with the interactive tabs for 17 Trump associates? They still have it: LINK.

Look, the Trump-Russia story is not much different now than it was a month ago. Things are picking up steam, slowly.

There wasn't a whole lot noteworthy from Comey earlier this week, except for two things, one which cuts against Trump-Russia, and one which cuts for Trump-Russia. The first was his almost complete dismissal of the 2/14/17 article from The New York Times about alleged known communications during the campaign. But even that article noted in its 3rd paragraph, "The officials interviewed in recent weeks said that, so far, they had seen no evidence of such cooperation." So there wasn't very much in that article to actually get refuted.

The second was his very weird remarks about Jeff Sessions: "We also were aware of facts that I can't discuss in an open setting that would make his continued engagement in a Russia-related investigation problematic." So apparently there's more known about Sessions and the Russian ties that isn't yet public knowledge.

Robert Mueller is staffing up by hiring senior people who have experience with Watergate/Mafia/Enron type of stuff. His investigation will build slowly.

Eric Schneiderman also hired a couple of people in March who specialize in public corruption cases, but the only recent news about his group is that he may go after Eric Trump for improper self-dealing. The problem for Schneiderman's investigations is that there's not much that can be done by a state AG in terms of criminally prosecuting a sitting President, which probably explains why he's only moving quasi-publicly on this Eric Trump business. However, whatever he does learn, he can eventually share with Mueller.

But this argument about how "every other businessman in NYC has similar ties to Russians" is preposterous bullshite. There is nothing quite like Trump's known ties to the Russian mafia, and it insults our intelligence to try to argue that it's somehow normal for New York.

People have known for years that Trump was in bed with the Russian mafia. If you would have tried to deny it in 2014, you would have been laughed at. But because Trump won an election, now it's considered unthinkable to believe what everybody already knew years before. It's weird how things work like that.

It wasn't just some sexed-up British dossier that made international allies think something was wrong with the Trump campaign, it was other stuff as well. That's why Dutch, British, Australian, Polish, German, & French intelligence all raised alarm bells to the U.S. intelligence community in 2016. They didn't do it for nothing.

Trump has been involved with Russian KGB-affiliated mobsters for decades, the most notorious of which include Tevfik Arif, Felix Sater, & Semion Mogilevich. That's why the Dutch documentary program Zembla aired "The Dubious Friends of Donald Trump" last month.

Trump's Bayrock was sued 3 times in 2007, 2010, & 2015, for being a racketeering scheme to launder Russian mafia money. As Fred Oberlander, the plantiff's attorney states, "I have concluded, without any question, that Donald Trump may be credibly charged with participating in a racketeering conspiracy based on what happened with Bayrock."

None of this is normal. Nothing about Trump's public behavior toward the Russians in general, and Putin, Kislyak, and Lavrov, in particular, is normal. Nothing about Trump forming his inner political circle with so many people having close Russian ties is normal. The investigation will continue.

So a high profile lawyer capable of representing the president has other high profile clients from around the world? No way

What part of: the peegate Dossiere' was started (with HRC and McCain) to cover up that Obama used the FISA court to use the IC to do oppo research.-- It's called political espionage.

Even Comey has said Trump is not under investigation. The Flynn thing was him mixing up filing papers. (registering as a foreign agent) Did HRC and ALL OF DC register as foreign agents for being lobbyists with Russia and the world?

If there was an order for every word you said to be monitored and recorded, you could be made to slip up and look like a liar. This is what happened to Flynn and it was a felony. If spying on Flynn and Trump's conversations with foreign leaders does not come out to the light of day. Then we are in deep crap as America, no?

ETA: and when the dossiere' was called hokie and complete BS. Enter exihibit B to cover up Obama's utilization of the FISA court to do oppo research for HRC. More BS...

I was going to go off and mention all of the ties to Russia from the Clinton's, Podesta's and the FACT that BHO and Bill Ayres were good buddies back in the day. You remember Ayres, that spoiled TrustFund PUNK who wanted to overthrow the US and was even involved with several domestic terrorist bombings on our soil?
Alas, that would be quickly ridiculed by the lefties as "whataboutism" so I won't mention it.

However, an International Businessman and an International Attorney actually knowing people from Russia. OMG! That is scary stuff!

That's like saying a lawyer has ties to murderers because they represented someone in a murder case.

Retarded.

McCarthyism : the practice of making accusations of disloyalty, especially of pro- (Russian) Communist activity, in many instances unsupported by proof or based on slight, doubtful, or irrelevant evidence.

quote:

Against Neo-McCarthyism
In their eagerness to defeat Trump, liberal pundits are reviving a damaging discourse

The Nation calls on liberals to focus on these issues, to undertake a serious conversation about US-Russia relations, and to reject the cheap neo-McCarthyism that undermines these efforts. No one wishes to defeat Donald Trump more than The Nation. But to adopt the pernicious language of McCarthyism is to turn our backs on the best traditions of our country in favor of the worst.

You are a hack and you are embarrassing yourself and American Liberalism. If you had any integrity or sef-respect, you would feel shame.
