IF a deal like this goes through, I wouldn’t be surprised if some US/Trump strong arming to keep Netanyahu out of prison was laid out. I don’t know why Netanyahu would have agreed to it otherwise. People forget that Netanyahu had got busted for bribery and fraud charges and was going through a trial prior to Oct 7 and it’s not going away.
The Netanyahu Corruption Trial, Explained
Netanyahu hasn’t given a shite about the hostages up to this point, and has sought to prolong the conflict as long as possible.
Times of Israel - Netanyahu said to reject negotiators’ bid to formulate new hostage deal proposal

If your wasting your families resources, 100%.
How do you define "wasting"? I agree that helping you and your family would be a waste. Way I see it, pretty much all of Israel's neighbors would actively celebrate and cheer all attacks on America (my family). As far as I know, Israel has not celebrated any attacks on America by those that follow that "peaceful religion".

Maybe you can't, but I certainly can. I can put my family first, while still helping your family. Not that I would in your case.
But that isn't what is happening.
Our money is going to Ukraine and Israel. Hurricane victims are an afterthought.

Kimberly Halkett Reporting from Washington, DC President Joe Biden maintains that his team is doing all it can to get a ceasefire across the finish line. Biden has said he wants this to be part of his legacy, and he says that his team is on the brink of getting this agreement done.
This would be based on the proposal he put forward in May of 2024 that would allow for the surge of humanitarian aid, the exchange of Palestinian prisoners for Israeli captives and also would allow for the halt of the fighting.
However, the Trump team is going to act as the guarantors. Donald Trump himself put his own stamp on all of this when he said I want to see these captives released before January 20 or, in his words, “all hell will break loose.”
This is a unique time where, amid all these negotiations, Trump has added a threat to hover over these negotiations and add some urgency while Biden is engaged in diplomacy as well, working the phones in his usual sort of statesman-like manner.
Suck Harder

Thanks to which political party? Which political party have you supported historically? Now which party did you vote for in 2020? Which political party did you vote for in 2024?

The last thing I would wish to be is a terrorist as Israel has demonstrated their resolve in eliminating this lot of vermin in the past 18 months.
They must feel awfully confident to make this deal and rightly so
They probably chipped these clowns in some manner and was told each will be given a complimentary pager and walkie talkie

Are you implying that Israel, a predominantly Jewish population, shares the predominantly Christian beliefs of America's population?
No, but I think he means that Israel believes in a liberal democratic order which places an importance on the rights of the individual. These are the values of Western Civilization.

Please enlighten me on Chronometry oh Copernicus.
B.C. means before the birth of Christ.
A.D. means after the birth of Christ.

My point soared over your pointed head.
Over "time", lands, borders, nations change. Many nations cease to exist any more. I want to think that is what the post you replied to was implying, and you came back with a wiki history lesson.

The only thing I want is any American hostages released and zero American troops involved in this mess. I could not care any less if jews and muslims are fighting. Or Ukraine and Russia. As long as Americans are not dying.
Also ZERO gifts of weapons or money to anyone. If Israel wants to buy weapons we should sell them to them but the days of giving other countries weapons or funding needs to end yesterday.

My links provided are in response to the “Palestine never existed” fringe. If you read it in context, you will understand it.
Just because a people are conquered doesn’t negate their history, culture and right to exist NOR their right to fight for their inalienable rights to live freely as given to them by GOD.

What do you know about the “Americans” held hostage by Hamas?
Did any of them serve in the US military?
Did any of them serve in the Israeli Defense Forces?
Were any of them just visiting Israel when captured?
How many are full-time, repatriated residents of Israel?
When you answer these, then tell me how we should commit treasure and blood to rescue them.
