Trump made a monumental turnaround to the US economy in his first 6 months of his first term.

Joe Biden completely tanked the economy in the first three months of his current term.

Executive orders, as we can clearly see, do have the power to produce some pretty outstanding results pretty rapidly.

I'll be happy to watch Trump give it a go for the first 6 months of his second term. All he has to do is to re-implement his previously implemented domestic and foreign economic policies that Biden axed on day one.

I'm not getting into any pissing contests with "Team Trump" and "Team BDR" because I'm one of the few here who will openly admit that I'll vote for either man... but a scorched-Earth second term for Trump would be pretty awesome to witness.

And it came to bite him square in the face. Which is a primary reason he's having to deal with this garbage now. That's 100% on him.

Feel zero sympathy for him on that front.

For real, I was like, "didn't this guy take Civics in high school?!"

But they're as stupid as 0bama voters when they act like if a President just summons his inner gangsta enough, then the law does what they want it to.

At the end of his presidency he STILL had a revolving door for Sec Def. I never saw him get better at sniffing out the opposition. Even if he got played at first, which probably would have happened to any political neophyte, expecting improvement isn’t unreasonable. Not perfection, just an upward trend. It wasn’t there, it’s not there.

Is this more outlandish than him stopping the Ukraine war in 24 hours?

I do believe the economy could be improved and on the upswing in relatively short order. Government simply needs to get out of the way.

The cultural war and beating back the Woke mind virus will take much longer I agree.

The border is such a mess, while it’d be nice to have it under control that quickly, it’d probably take more time as well.

Bottom line: Joetato and the Socialists have done plenty of damage in a short amount of time and are continuing to feverishly tear down everything they can.

You can reverse a lot of what Biden has done, immediately. I plan to do that via EO.

We need to stop looking to specific candidates, even myself, on these issues. We must have a complete overhaul of the entire federal government, all three branches. That can only be done by will of the People.

DeSantis is right that it will take a long time. Trump is right that he could get a lot of done quickly. But, we need an overhaul and no single leader can do that. All of society has to get involved.

The country belongs to the People. Take back your country.

If Trump wins the Presidency, that means the Dems probably win it back in ‘28. Just a replay of Trump’s first term followed by Biden, and in ‘32 we will be sitting where we are now.

Alternatively, we put DeSantis in for 8 years, and come ‘32 the nation will be in a much better position.

Trump should be enjoying his final good years on the golf course and with family, helping the movement he helped create, not stifling it like he is trying to do now.

The argument is really too dumb to even address, but of course there are enough people out there who are eating it up that it needs to be.

Who is more dumb? People that like Trump or people that cite WAPO as a source when they attack Trump?

You mean, he couldn't work with Congress to enact lasting legislation?

How will that be different in 2024? Are we doomed to repeat the current shite show of 2020-2024 in 2028?

Trump is plucking my nerves. It's the same ol' crap...DeSanctus this, DeSanctimonious that... at rallies. The difference now is the crowds are dwindling and even his cult is becoming more mind-numbed. What a jerk

I'm just going to say this in response to your post...

If Covid and the lockdown had occurred under a Biden presidency and administration.... this country and economy would have been crippled and truly fricked. End of story.

wish Trump would chill out on some of the BS he's been spewing lately.

he's not.

do you listen to other candidates?

what purity tests do you require?

why not Nikki Haley?
has experience as governor and as UN ambassador.

Leftists on this site are , without exception, DeSantis supporters. It is concerning. If fricking Tarzana supported my candidate, that would make me wonder what the frick I am missing.

No two term President has had a 1st term without a massive frick up since Reagan. The difference with Trump is that his was circumstance more than any other President’s frick up. He will be far more successful in his second term - and he was on pace for a great first term before China released a bio weapon on us
