Thank you, President Trump

I don't like Trump's populist taxing (tariffs) and spending schemes, but he didn't hold a gun to one single person's head and make them buy anything. Every person who bought something on BNPL did so without any help from Donald Trump.

People used to understand that if you couldn't afford something you just didn't buy it. Now if they can't afford something they buy it anyway and blame the 'effing President of the United States.

Posts like this are why your doe eyed, "Who me? I never said I was a Democrat" posts are ignored.

You sure got the TDS like a Democrat.

U.S. consumers are so financially strained they put more than $1 billion on buy-now, pay later services during Black Friday and Cyber Monday

PayPal incentives this with cash back with lots of vendors. Stackable with the offers on the vendor website.

I thinks it’s always no interest

online x-mas sales have increased yty for at least a decade, probably 2, as companies become more virtual. this really doesn't mean much. outside of groceries, i couldn't tell you the last time i bought something in a store

The thread title:

quote:

Trump’s economy is a bloodbath. People can’t shop for Christmas

which implies credit should be given to Trump for these sales. I’m following the logic (or lack thereof) of the OP.

quote:

People used to understand that if you couldn't afford something you just didn't buy it. Now if they can't afford something they buy it anyway and blame the 'effing President of the United States.
his example is to buy what you know can’t afford. Do you remember the OBB? But every day, regular Americans should be held to a higher standard than the President? Do as I say, not as I do…

quote:

You sure got the TDS like a Democrat.

Right. Only Democrats can be critical of the president. Makes total sense.

I am called much worse names than “Democrat” here. I’ll live.

I’m not ecstatic about the economy, but even I have to admit spending is a good indicator.

I honestly hope your life is as miserable I it seems to be from your messages. I hope the next 3 years puts you through relentless pain. Then when Vance gets in he turns up the knob on your pain. Miserable POS.

Being a business owner is hard I would imagine but the market is constantly changing and some people don’t adapt to what people want. With technology changing as fast as it is you can’t be a traditional business and expect to succeed in this environment.
