No. It would be difficult to “remember” something that NEVER happened. I have ALWAYS described myself as exactly what I am … a Center-Right libertarian.

I actually agree with the gist of your post. I dont like it either. I have had to come to grips with the notion that the man is a complete narcissist. It is my nature to revile narcissists. And that was my opinion also during the '16 primary season.I hated him - because I thought he was in it only for personal glory, or to gather info for some new 'reality show' the next season. It was only my greater hatred for HRC that made me have no hesitation in voting for him - but I shortly became aware that he did exactly what he promised to do - or at least tried as hard as possible to achieve it. He was hampered from the start by his total naiveté with respect to the strength of the 'deep state' -

Trump was not my first pick for the R candidate for the presidency but after the first debate it was pretty obvious he was the only with the baby makers that were necessary to take on the DC establishment.

The Groomers are still confused by the support Trump gets from America First patriots. It’s simple Groomers, there has never been a man elected president of the United States who seriously tried to challenge the Bureaucratic State….Trump did and he’s now public enemy number one of the Uniparty/Bureaucratic State.

We need a degree of narcissism in our leaders. That said, when we think of pathological narcissism, that's 0bama. Trump is the opposite. Trump isn't out to compensate for a miserable childhood. Trump isn't some loser who was propped up and pushed forward all his life by weirdo commie shitpeople. Trump isn't the kind of guy who sees someone else being happy and gets pissed - he gets happy himself.

Yep, seems even Grandpa Joe could work out his differences with Manchin and get him to help out. With Trump, if you disagree with him, you’re the enemy.

Can anyone point to some examples where he’s had beef with a politician and they worked it out and got some productive work accomplished.

I’m sure its happened, the media just won’t cover it.

I think he and Lindsey Graham had problems initially and eventually developed a working relationship.

This happens with high school coaches a lot. Parents wanting their kids to play, one wining season or a team that has been overachieving. School board members fire teachers because they are not 100% behind the coach. Community starts blaming players and their families when things start go bad. Then years later people realize that the coach really wasn’t that good.
Decent analogy.

I love it when people who never played football make football analogies.

His ego and narcissism gets in the way a lot of the times. No one should ever pledge to be loyal to a single person and believing the truth comes from one man, is a bad road to go down. It is a huge problem within the MAGA community, and people do need to sit back, and take a look at how they’ve been behaving, and how they’ve changed politically since Trump.

Trump is not a tyrant though, just a narcissist. It would be hard to not vote for him if he’s the GOP candidate in 2024. I don’t know how I could vote for anyone else.

You should really know your audience before posting...all of those words have been used on this board LONG before Trump ever came around.
