Inflation is caused by printing up money. If you lower taxes and increase government spending, then what you get is inflation.
And we did in fact have HUGE amounts of inflation under Trump in his first term. He inflated the money supply by large amounts in 2020. He was responsible for about half of the inflation we got under Biden.
