CP won this argument going away. I hate the gay pride shite, pride month, and all of that stuff, bu CP was correct that the players weren’t being forced to wear the hats. At least based on what we know, they weren’t forced. Maybe the club put pressure on them.

that was the only part that sounds believable

The exact thing MLB is promoting. You’re not smart enough to realize it.

They were warned that making a social statement was unacceptable unless it is the social statement they tell you. Supporting that is not winning by any means.

Feel free to use your words.
What specifically is MLB promoting, and how does that change the fact that a player wore a standard cap without punishment?

Making a social statement. Pro LGBTQ. Yet they warn about other social statements being made. Even if they are uncontroversial as a bible verse.

You still didn’t get the point. Clearly. My words were accurate. You’re just a very dumb person.

Never said it did. Try to keep up.

I’ve noticed a pattern:
Me: cites what happened.
You guys: communist, gay, marxist, derp.
That’s what happens when you cult baws run slap out of arguments.

Were these players punished in the past or do you just get punished if your verse of choice offends a certain group?

Actually, I got your point.
Your point just isn’t the argument we’ve been having.
We started with whether players were forced. Now you’ve pivoted to whether MLB applies its messaging policy fairly.
Those are two different conversations, which is why you keep insisting I’m missing a point while changing the subject.

:sigh: Like moths to a flame.
Still waiting for someone to argue this SF Giants uniform policy instead of fan fiction.

Liberals: DON’T FORCE YOUR RELIGION ON ME!
Also Liberals: EITHER YOU CELEBRATE OUR SEXUALITY OR WE WILL GET YOU FIRED.
That's what it boils down to. They realize it's unnatural and need some form of justification in order to feel better about their sin.

The players were not forced to do anything. One player elected to wear the standard SF ballcap. Wasn’t penalized. It’s non news.
That part is lost on you baws… so eager to be a victim.
Some of the players on the team wanted to make a social message out of the opportunity and knowingly violated already existing Giants uniform policy by writing on their ballcaps.
They violated a trash policy. No one gives a damn any more.

Because no one cares about a stupid uniform policy. They will pay the fine for having bible verses on their hats and the fairy organization can frick off. There is no discussion to be had.

Why won't the MLB support real diversity? I can say "it's only a hat, what's the big deal?" and some would spin that as "it's more than a hat, it's a message." So are the times players choose to participate but by acknowledging their own true beliefs.

Based on religious beliefs alone, I don't know how the MLB could force a player into promoting a sin.
Whether it's by forcing some form of clothing onto their bodies or by any other display.
It's a 1st amdmt violation and worst of all, it's really creepy.

City connect unis are the only changes that should be different besides home and away. Every month has some sort of "celebration/awareness" but the only one you hear about is pride month... which is nothing more than a shameless marketing strategy to sell more merchandise.
Ironic how the gay community thinks that players choosing their own beliefs is an "us vs. them" outcome, why not "us with them"? You want to be acknowledged because of sexuality, but stomp out religion. Doesn't seem balanced.
