According to Fox & Friends First this morning.
Supposedly working with developers from Freespace. Will be unveiled and live this year.
So, maybe Section 230 will be repealed after all lol.

Also, apparently Gab wanted Trump on their platform but he rebuffed them, telling them he wanted to start his own platform, which annoyed them.

If the app actually works well - how fricked is Twitter, exactly? Or really any news media for that matter.
Xiden is somehow both mind numbingly boring, and corrupt AF at the same time. The only thing interesting about the man is illegal to discuss on Twitter- which, along with other leftist media is in a moral panic bc they can’t stop talking about Trump.
Do the leftists flock there and ruin it like the locusts they are (I mean- look what they did to California) or do we just continue to silo ourselves?

This seems like a terrible idea bc he’s at the mercy of big tech. Maybe he has a plan for exploiting them when they ban / de-platform his services, but he didn’t really have any plans for them stealing the elections through mail in voting.

Twitter owns the market. It’s highly unlikely that a new platform will take over.

I wish he, gab, Mike Linell, Parler, Rumble and some other free speech platforms would work together to come up with a strategy, but would that be considered collusion?

The ISP is what provides internet to consumers. You're thinking of a hosting provider.

I've zero enthusiasm for that.. unless he is also building his own servers, cloudfare knockoff, etc.
Otherwise, it'll be destroyed within the first 24 hours. He also needs to advertise it on a nationwide scale.. because Google play and the apple store will not carry that app. So he has to do the advertisement route, so more and more people know it exists and how to download it.

The question isn't audience or hosting, it's finding a stable of reliably advertising

As much as I appreciate Gab stepping up - this is a fool me once scenario for the Don. Why take the risk on trusting any existing social media company.
The funny thing will be that Apple will refuse to allow his app in their ecosystem. Android will probably bend the knee but I doubt it as well. He will basically have to run it from a website.
