Trump made dems:

- hate a law making gay marriage legal

it really is amazing to watch

So very true and another one is I read yesterday that the administration may reschedule weed to Schedule III in the coming weeks. If they do it's going to be hilarious to watch the left argue against it

Plenty here hate them. There is literally a thread about wanting to throw them off the roof like the Muslims do.

You’re making the common mistake of not supporting Obergefell and specifically the downstream consequences of it, specifically the T and Q parts of the alphabet crew, with not supporting or disliking gay people.

The two aren’t the same and you can have legitimate reasons for opposing the former while fully welcoming and providing coats for any of the maga gays. Or just being ambivalent to their existence in general

It is the same as the abortion issue really. There's nothing in the constitution that addresses the issue, so it's up to the states.

I have no problem with queers and even less with attractive lesbians!! Lol.
But, it's not the norm and should be dealt with as such.
As I mentioned above, it's a state issue.

1st Amendment - “Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion”

This clause not only forbids the government from establishing an official religion, but also prohibits government actions that unduly favor one religion over another. It also prohibits the government from unduly preferring religion over non-religion, or non-religion over religion.

The Government is currently breaking the Constitution by providing tax benefits to “Married” people since marriage is a religious sacrament, thus, favoring religion over non-religion. The Government’s attempt to co-op the word “marriage” is also problematic. It could be argued that the Government is forcing a religious practice and terminology on what should be seen as a civil union to any non-religious citizen.

So then you take the federal govt out of all marriages? That’s never going to happen.

As far as states are concerned, each state would have to recognize marriage of a couple from another state in which it is legal…

Sorry Dex. Your marriage will no longer be recognized.

If Milos Y. can turn straight, so can you.

Such projection. You remind me of one the Baptist preachers in the suburb I grew up in that was caught with a male prostitute in the parking lot of the Shoneys on Union Ave.

You are incorrect.
Marriage is a cultural issue and not a religious issue. Marriage has been accepted to be between a man and a woman since the founding of our nation. The norm established as a founding principle of our nation shouldn't be changed due to a tiny percentage of folks wishing it to be so. But, since our constitution DOESN’T ADDRESS THE TOPIC OF MARRIAGE (probably cuz our founding fathers never imagined a world where sodomites would be considered part of normal society)the issue falls to each state.

You may attempt to bend this to fit your Marxist Dem ideology, but it's pretty straightforward to normal thinking folks.

It's been the opinion of many that have lived in this great country before me. Do you know why marriage isn't mentioned directly in the Constitution???? Because our founding fathers could never imagine a time that men fricking each other in the arse would be considered normal.

If you and ur rump ranger butt buddies want to behave that way, that's fine. It's your prerogative. Just stop expecting the rest of normal society to condone it as normal, cuz it's not normal. Never has been and never will be.

How about government gets out of the business of marriage in general and it just goes away?
