Great job Trump. You bought into, and affirmed the premise of an international carbon tax, Goddammit, how stupid is he? Democrats must be loving this.

He's a toddler when it comes to dealing with our allies. The Canadians sent their people to help with the California wildfires and Trump instead of offering aid in a time of need wants to impose punitive tariffs that will ultimately be paid by Americans.
I guess this is more 5D chess

Our direct neighbors are really strange countries....Canada and Mexico are in a perfect position to benefit from the economic super-power on their borders.....and they do just the opposite!

Mexico is becoming a manufacturing powerhouse and is one of the reasons the I35 corridor is one of the economic hot spots in the United States. You couldn't be more wrong in your assessment.

Most people dont realize that over half the power generation in Mexico comes from our natural gas exports.
Meanwhile New York state imports power from Canada.....while they sit right on top of the Marcellus gas field. And then complain about Trump trade policies causing higher power bills, while they exasperate the high cost by tossing in cap and trade nonsense.

How much more in taxes are we going to pay cause of these evil tariffs?

You would think Canada would have a world class forest management program, since they are mainly a tourist based economy…….

Mexico hasn’t no will they ever pay for any wall. Btw - there’s an estimated 5.5 to 6 million (we all know that number is low) Illegal Immigrants from Mexico here in the United States. Mexico has the upper hand and has invaded us without firing a shot. What happens when those Mexicans decide to rise up and take over? How will we stop them? They are in literally every single major metro area of the country.
