If you take a look at the American culture around you, it is quick to realize this is the political fate America deserves.
The average American is lost because our culture has rotted. Thus we end up with two sides with no principles just tying to whack each other with the biggest bat they can get their hands on.

Fun facts that aren't being publicized though nearly as much as "muh polls":
DeSantis has over 41,000 people in Iowa that have signed up to Caucus and vote for him. By itself that is 22-29% of the vote depending on turnout. He will likely have 50-60,000 by the time they vote. Obviously this doesn't count anyone who will vote for him and signed a card.
Trump pulled his ads in Iowa Dec 1.
I guess we will find out in about 40 days.

If you think Biden is running and the Democrats are going to let him screw this up you’re largely mistaken. It’s just about when they decide to pull the plug and say he has to leave for “health reasons”

I used to think that, but after that debate performance where his wife stopped him from continuing after he and DeSantis both agreed to keep going longer than the previous planned time, I’m not so sure.
They might run Kamala Harris out there, though. Or the Governor of Michigan. Newsome got exposed bad.

Kamala Harris would be good for Republicans too. But anyone else and I think we’re in big trouble. I also think if Trump loses, the media will never refer to Jan 6 as an “insurrection” ever again.

This, and also if he loses, you won’t see this push in the criminal court cases against him.
Democrats really don’t have a desire to sentence Trump to prison. The second that happens, he sings like a canary. Same with Biden and his son. Republicans won’t push to convict Hunter and send him to jail, because then he’ll air out all their criminal laundry.
Democrats just want to win in 2024. Jailing Donald Trump is not the goal, just like Ted Kennedy was never going to be locked up for actions that would have caused us on this board to serve 20 years plus.
