DeSantis is a beast and we should all be unified in wanting him to have a bright future in politics. Requiring genuflection before Trump and his advisors (who I'll wager are the ones set on this more than anyone else) is foolish egoism.

I'll also wager that DeSantis's faith-inspired conservatism makes some of Trump's advisors either uncomfortable or hostile towards him.

The sizable, vacuous zombie contingent among the MAGA faithful will mindlessly parrot whatever cranial detritus the likes of Loony Loomer belches out. They'll hate DeSantis no matter what just because they're told to.

My read on it is that they have deep-seated psychological issues and they feel the need to either sound smart or be a part of something that is more capable and more relevant than themselves
