If Ron had any grassroots support, he would have not done this poorly in the Florida Republican primary. People would of still came out and voted for him to show their support. Ron's only hope to win future elections is MAGA. If he doesn't appoint Lara Trump to the Senate, MAGA will be finished with him. It is what it is.

I'm not sure what she is inferring from that clip? That it's better to give it to her and wait until 2028 otherwise the primary could get ugly? It's already been ugly. Trump looks like he is sticking with Hegseth so what is he getting for it?
Four years is an eternity in Trump world but I just don't see Trump,endorsing Ron in 2028 over JD? I could also envision a scenario where Vance falls out with Trump but I think JD is smarter than that. The point is there is no guarantee.
Appointing Laura really has no upside for Ron other than it will ingratiate him Trump and Trump will owe him one....on the other hand if he has Lara in a statewide office her loyalty will always be to Trump and not to Ron. Lara has earned it. She took a shite sandwich RNC that was run into the ground buy the GOPe, turned it around and helped President Trump win a landslide election including the popular vote. With President Trump's endorsement Lara Trump would beat any opposition including Ron himself in 2026. Ron can do the right thing and appoint Lara Trump to the Senate or he could make another poor decision like he has in the past.

Bro, You can't be this obtuse. That clip was from 2022 and was referring to running against President Trump. Nothing to do with her. And she was 100% correct in that clip. Ron should have waited until 2028 to run for President but he made a poor decision. He would be making another poor decision if he doesn't appoint Lara Trump now
