re: Trump Up At 1:00 am Shitposting About DeSantis

He also called Kemp a traitor and said it might be better if Stacey Abrams were Governor. Then, he had his fellow loser pal, David Perdue, primary him. Perdue got crushed, and then right before the election when polls showed Kemp beating Abrams by 7-8 points, Trump was a fricking weasel and “endorsed” Kemp to pad his stats. Sorry, but you don’t get to count that as a win. You called him a traitor, tried to get him out of office, and said the Democrat might be better than him.

It worked in 2016 because nobody had ever seen someone call out the grifters, and every republican candidate was a weird loser so he could tear them apart. Now his schick is old and because there's an immensely popular and successful republican, he's acting like a goddamn child. Not only that his "jokes" are lame and cringy.
It's really pitiful and unless he backs away, which he of course won't because Trump is for Trump, the Republican primary will be ripped to pieces and literally any Democrat will dominate the general election. Without cheating.
Keep cheering Trump diehards. I loved his presidency, early voted for him in 2020, but his narcissistic adolescent zingers are going to put the final nail in the coffin. He cannot win. Period

I mean this is pretty normal for trump. I’d be worried if he wasn’t doing stuff like this
That being said this is exactly why I hope desantis gets the nomination. It was good for the time he was in office but it’s run it’s course i think.

Starting to think his presidency was all part of the plan. Gog in the wheel.

So you were cool with Trump through his Presidency and in fact supported through 2020 and even supported him with your vote (putting it essentially at the beginning of year 2021), yet something in only a little over 2 years intervening completely changed your views and opinions and ultimately “support” of Trump?
Sounds like a little overreacting possibly going on here. What’s been so drastically different??

Being “outspoken” and on the defensive 24/7.

I just don’t understand how it could’ve “run its course” between end 2020/beginning 2021 and this date in 2023. Do you perhaps think along those lines due to your observations of how folks are acting towards Trump at the present? Maaybe specifically here, with all the extremely loud voices crowing negatively about him? Because that’s all a classic “vocal minority.” JMO of course.
What I think is that your observations and conclusions up to 2020 (i.e. during his Presidency) that “it was good” were sound observations and conclusions, and that you shouldn’t second guess yourself - nothing about Trump has changed. “We’ve” changed, but he hasn’t. You’re still right about it being good.

Yes Trump has been acting different since 2020. He seems much more self centered now and going after the country's most popular and effective governor with the silly nicknames isn't what voters are looking for this time. In my opinion

Trump's petulant attacks against DeSantis, and DeSantis refusing to engage in the temper tantrum, and the DeSantis supporters are "sissy's"?

Desantis has by his actions and/or inactions placed himself squarely in the conversation for Republican nomination for 2024, as we’ve all clearly seen. Making him an election opponent of Trump, who as we know has officially declared and now engaged in campaigning the way he’s always done it before. Should Desantis be handed with kid gloves and treated like a snowflake for any particular reason?

Yes, and Trump hasn't did a single thing sense announcing, other than whine about DeSantis, and keep bitching about 2020.
Petulancy and acting like a 12 year old girl isn't going to get you the white house. Present ideas and tell us how you are going to run your campaign differently than the one that lost to Potato head.

Considering Trump is pissing off potential voters, it would be prudent to not make enemies of friends.

It is sad to see.
He won us over with calling out the gaslighting the left has done for years then turns around to try to gaslight us.

Doesn’t matter what Trump does. You’ll be saying the exact same things regardless. Thus, he wisely doesn’t give a shite about wayward opinions on the subject

We both know that the only anecdotal evidence you have of that assertion comes from your observations of this political discussion forum right here. And that is not a good representation of the real world outside of our beloved board.
