Oh... so now we're on Jr. So how do you know Jr.? Personal friend? Or did you get that info from MSM? Perhaps you're part the Mueller investigative team?
I get it. Do you have to personally know someone to comment about them on a message board? I'm not following you nonsensical logic.

Explain to me how Trump starting a TV station is tantamount to autocracy again...
The president shouldn't be in the media business while he's in office. This is just plain inappropriate.

I have always thought Trump's real purpose for the whole POTUS thing was to start his own news channel

Does the president of the US have enough time to be out running a news network? or managing it?
Did Bush, Jr. have time to run and mangage his ranch for eight years while president? Did Jimmy Carter get out of the peanut business while he was president? I had to go all the way back to him to find a Democratic president that actually owned a business.
How sad huh?

You obviously haven't read my limited post history if you think I'm a friend of the establishment. After 20+ years of Federal service in 3 different agencies, I think I've got a better grasp of government corruption than most on this board.

And that's a fair assessment, but it isn't autocracy.

If I had to guess the upswing in jobs occurring in the last quarter were probably companies hiring for the holidays or some such it wasn't because Obama suddenly became the jobs President. No matter what you're full of shite.
Yet here I am posting hard data and here you are trying your best to milk Trumps prostate.

It can turn into an autocracy on official information. It's really no different than state-run media. Trump TV is not good for our republic.
You know as well as I do that if Obama started Obama TV, everyone here would've lost it - and rightfully so.
(I know the response will be that almost all the media was Obama TV, but it's not the same as him owning the actual network)

Not sure what that has to do with anything I said.
My point was simply that suggesting it is tantamount to this country becoming an autocracy is bullshite hyperbole.

Another one... all about the "names". Third leftist to ignore the first part of that post.

"Everyone but Trump TV is fake news, therefore they're the only ones invited to the WH pressers."

I was just making the point that the people saying there's nothing wrong with this only agree with it because their guy is doing it.
The whole notion is completely fricked up - no matter who the president is.

Oh I know better... trust me. However, when the hypocracy from Left on this board gets neck deep I'll chime in.

You must have been absolutely terrified when Obama had CNN, MSNBC, CBS, ABC, NBC, NPR, PBS all in his front pocket supporting and defending his agenda 24/7...

I mean, we already have party run propaganda masquerading as news. Unless trump uses the power of the office to shut down the opposition party's institutions, this seems like a move toward balance.

You're worried about profits?

Not sure how it's any different than press briefings and tweets. Just more exposure of the President's message.
What would be "frightening" is if he started shutting down competition.
