Only because the population is higher now than ever before.

Reagan and Ike both got a higher percentage of the voting population than Trump.

I know my opinion on this is highly unpopular here, but why murder the baby even in cases of incest and rape? How is that moral or fair to the baby? Did he/she have anything to do with the conception? The blame and punishment should fall squarely on the perpetrators of the crime. Just sounds logical to me. If you punish severely people who rape others, the crime would be almost unheard of before long.

Eh he is much better than Romney or McCain, but come on. Reagan won 49 states in 1984. It’s not his fault that the US had over 100 million less people back then

Yep. That's my belief, too. No exceptions other than in the case of mother's health.

Our society broadly, and increasingly so on the Right, is soft AF and simply cannot handle the thought that sometimes really bad shite happens to people. Life isn't supposed to be fair or equitable, and far more bad is done than good when governments/people try to make everything even/equitable.

Same sort of argument around Covid - the virus ended up being pretty tame relative to the bullshite that weak minds were told to believe, but even if it had been that nasty AF 3-5% mortality rate virus, the government wasn't going to save us from it and the more it tried to do so, the worse the eventual general outcome.

How in the hell is that his problem?

Well, he was the leader of the Republican party. He still is. It's his problem the same way any CEO is accountable for the results of his organization. The fact is that from Trump's 1st day in office to the last of this first term, conservatives lost power/influence and the establishment gained power/control. How Trump is held accountable for that can be debated, but it's weird to have to debate his role/accountability with an adult.

TBH I don't even slightly care about abortion issues in this coming cycle. Not one iota of care. None.

I care about, in no particular order, border security/illegal immigration, military preparedness, national economy, overreach by the eff bee eye/dee oh jay/ eye arr ess, welfare fraud issues and the attack on the energy sector.

Abortion can take a back seat on this one. We can work on that issue more if actual conservatives ever regain any power.

Rs lost the midterms cause of Roe!!!- ronbots

The frick?

You're projecting your own opinions and excuses onto the other side, just like the Left does.

No "RonBot" has argued the Rs lost the midterms because of Roe. That was literally the OnlyTrumpers' excuse as to why the midterms were blown, instead of looking in the mirror and realizing Trump endorsed a lot of shitty candidates that lost.

fricking idiot
