Wouldn't it depend on what he says?
Do you think he's going to speak about union corruption and the need for autoworkers to come down off their ridiculous demands?

You're talking about a contingent of voters that will overwhelmingly vote for Trump in the general.
And since when did it become "like the Dems" to be critical of Trump for spending like a Democrat and handing the country over to Democrats in permanent Washington?

Yes, because there's no way possible that someone could actually believe a conservative candidate could do a better job as POTUS than Trump. I mean, I understand that you see your way as the ONLY way, but I'm afraid you don't have a grasp of reality here.
Hence my interest in your background.

Remember when Desantis supporters had placed all of their hopes on the debates to give him a chance?
Well, we hoped it'd give the country a chance. Of course, you people don't care about that at all.

Curious what his message will be.
They want a 20% reduction in work for a 40% increase in pay, at a time when car prices are out of control. In my opinion, they can all go to the house. I hope Japan or Korea introduces a full size truck and a direct competitor for the Wrangler.
The best heavy duty truck transmission is made by Aisin, a Japanese company. If they paired up with Cummins (they are paired in Ram trucks) but with a Toyota 1 ton truck - game over for Ram, Ford, GM. Ditto for Stellantis/Jeep if one of them went that route as well to compete with the Wrangler. I don't know why Toyota hasn't gone directly at the Ford Raptor with the Tundra, but coming in far cheaper. They would take over that market. Instead they beefed up the Tacoma and jacked up the price insanely.
Anyone that wanted to take out the big three, this is the time. Tesla is probably going to sell a ton of cars because of this strike.

Well there is that stubborn point that they need to get elected first

Trump scared of debating. Is he going to run from Biden too?

Running from the debates is legit a good strategy for Trump. It worked for Katie Hobbs.
When you can't poll within 40 points you really don't have a complaint.
As embarrassing as it is, the truth is Desantis didn't even earn a debate.

You wanted the country put in the hands of a guy who can't poll above 13 percent in his own party...a guy not smart enough to read the political landscape and recognize he was severely outgunned...a guy who decided it was the best course of action to align with the GOPe?
You were wrong about all of that. And, you are wrong by not realizing that Trump is the ONLY chance our country has.

I didn't complain about anything. What are you posting about? I acknowledged that it was smart for Trump to run from the debates, much like it was smart for Katie Hobbs to not debate Kari Lake. Trump and Hobbs only had something to lose by debating.

At some point, it's going to click for you that this is a worthless point. 90% of the people in this country are idiots. Poll numbers have nothing to do with what's best for this country.
As I said, I know you don't give a frick about that, but that's the way it is.

You were wrong about all of that.
No, I wasn't. Meatball is still the best in the race right now. That you people are too stupid to see that changes nothing.

You don't have to buy it. It's $60K because you want it.
If people make do with what they have, or can live with their ego driving a cheaper alternate, the price of a new F-150 will drop like a rock.

cry? whine? Whatever word you are comfortable with is ok with me.

And, I corrected you that there is no "running from" going on. Desantis not being close enough to force Trump to show up is what happened. When there's nothing to gain, there's really no point. And, this was explained to you weeks (maybe months) before the debate. You didn't realize it was going to happen.
quote:
Trump and Hobbs only had something to lose by debating.
The polling in the two races couldn't be further apart. And, trump taking unnecessary fire in the primary could negatively impact him in the general. It's very, very different. But, I realize you need that rationalization to make you feel better for supporting a candidate who is getting ABSOLUTELY CRUSHED.

Leadership is pretty much defined as getting people who are beneath you to follow you.

It's direct correlation of what people want. I'm smarter than you are and I would never think it's my place to tell everyone what is in their best interest.

As I said, I know you don't give a frick about that, but that's the way it is.
I'm definitely not like you. I don't believe 90% of people are idiots. I don't believe my wants and needs are more important than everyone else. And, I sure as hell don't think our democratic republic should be manipulated to ensure my choices are elected.

Desantis isn't even in the race to win at this point. You haven't even figured that part out yet. You are at least two steps behind.
