I probably would advise against it. Sometimes death happens. The chances of even extending life after a terminal diagnosis with an experimental medicine is almost minuscule. False hope isn’t hope

What's to stop any random person from selling sugar pills for 5 grand a pop as a possible cure to cancer? Saying it just hasn't been proven yet to bilk vulnerable families out of their money?
But this is what the FDA's compassionate use waivers are for. You can go through the process through the FDA to try drugs which haven't yet been approved, but the drug company has to pay for their drug (basically it's their ability to do a mini "trial" to learn more about it, but prevents abuse from pharmaceutical companies
