Glad to hear this, man.

Unfortunately stories like yours are extremely common. Hopefully this move today makes great strides in fixing this. I think it will.

I call it like it is strictly with your behavior on this board., without IRL juvenile personal remarks.

Accusing me of being high, cat lady,, box wino, presuming my marital status, is so juvenile. You have no idea who I am.

But it is all you got. You thinking it is so edgy Displaced Buckeye cool is pathetic.

So you admit to starting the very thing you accuse me of. Progress.

I ignore you until you call out my name. You are just too triggered to resist. Maybe it’s the wine.

I Completely agree here and I am living testament of that. Retired medically with 17 years in and roughly 90 months of deployment time, alcohol and drugs destroyed my family and myself. I ended up in a bad place. My daughter picked me up took me in. She’s the one who put me together not the VA. Now I’m remarried, bought a house, started a new career and making great money.

I’ll be honest I don’t really know much about using psychedelics to treat PTSD, I haven’t looked towards the VA for anything or even researched anything because they left a very, very sour taste in my mouth. Hopefully it’s in a much better place now and doesn’t fail fellow vets in need like it did me.
I am so glad that the stigma of talking about this is going away. Today's presser helped.

So glad you kicked that demon in the arse with happiness!

It isnt just SEALs, or military. All can heal from calling it out. That SEAL today nearly cried saying his alcohol demon was denounced. This helps others IMO.

I do work with Vets through the VFW. I just have nothing to do with the VA. TBH I find the regular military not SpecOps guys run into PTSD at a higher rate. They see more, do more, therefore are exposed to more. The SF community has a lot of resources now to help while they’re still in. The Regular army does not. I was on both sides of that fence. I am speaking from experience on that part.

Yeah it is a common story. However it’s made me who I am today. My problem is I’m behind the curve on retirement. Thank the lord I did retire from the Army, Because I’ll never get a 401K where it needs to be for retirement.

Well said. Just the acts of deployment, duties, are far more than civilians realize

I am hoping all can use this treatment.

We all need educated on the mushrooms and TBI.

My goodness. You people are weak.

So weak that you claim a lol emoticon put the board in a tizzy. It’s unbelievable or would be if it wasn’t the norm.

Reminder: you came looking for my attention and you got it.

I should feel pity for you. I just can’t.

Ibogaine is a psychoactive substance derived from the West African Tabernanthe iboga shrub. Recent YouTube content and research highlight its potential to treat PTSD and depression, particularly in military veterans.

Key YouTube Resources and Experts
Stanford University Study Insights: Dr. Nolan Williams discusses how ibogaine effectively treats traumatic brain injury (TBI), PTSD, and depression on the Stanford Medicine YouTube channel.

Veteran Testimonials: Multiple videos feature Special Operations veterans, such as Dakota Meyer, sharing how ibogaine therapy led to significant improvements in PTSD symptoms and emotional stability.

Scientific Discussions: Dr. Andrew Huberman and veteran guests explore how ibogaine catalyzes "radical honesty" and neuroplasticity to address trauma-informed addiction and mental health on the Huberman Lab channel.

Medical Perspectives: Dr. Deborah Mash, a pioneer in ibogaine research, discusses the potential risks and brain health benefits of the molecule in interviews on Austin Perlmutter's channel.

Therapeutic Potential for PTSD and Depression

Neuroplasticity: Ibogaine is believed to promote "brain rebooting" by stimulating the growth of new nerve cells and enhancing neuroplasticity, allowing the brain to rewire itself away from trauma-based patterns.

High Remission Rates: A Stanford study reported that 86% of veterans with PTSD experienced remission after a single treatment using the "MISTIC protocol" (ibogaine paired with magnesium).

Mood Improvement: Research and clinical reports indicate that ibogaine can alleviate severe depression and anxiety symptoms by restoring neurochemical processes to a pre-trauma state.

Clinical Oversight: While highly effective in some studies, experts emphasize the need for medical supervision due to potential cardiac risks associated with the substance.

This is great news for Vets.

Of course several west coast cities will eventually frick it up.

roadGator, why can’t you just be happy for suffering vets? Do you hate Trump more than love our troops? I even gave you advanced notice. But you can’t control your emotions and here we are.
