I Completely agree here and I am living testament of that. Retired medically with 17 years in and roughly 90 months of deployment time, alcohol and drugs destroyed my family and myself. I ended up in a bad place. My daughter picked me up took me in. She’s the one who put me together not the VA. Now I’m remarried, bought a house, started a new career and making great money.
I’ll be honest I don’t really know much about using psychedelics to treat PTSD, I haven’t looked towards the VA for anything or even researched anything because they left a very, very sour taste in my mouth. Hopefully it’s in a much better place now and doesn’t fail fellow vets in need like it did me.
