That’s a new one. I don’t think anyone’s mistakenly gone down that path yet. But no sir, I was referring to God and His final judgment of man, of a man. The particular man in that instance being the poster to whom I was replying.

What you see often in response to such an obvious set of well-known passages, retorts so obvious that it leaves them completely flummoxed momentarily, is they’ll come back with some version of the safe go-to that they really hope diverts the direction of the “discussion” is they’ll say something like “See! You can’t help yourself but to hurry in here and defend your cult leader!!” When in fact you didn’t even defend any specific person at all, but instead advocated for one side of a debate over judgment of man versus judgment of God, generically speaking at that.
As much as they loathe him, they actually rely on him (Trump) to legitimize all their positions and thoughts.

One is reading scripture that is from God, which by the way is exactly what this nation and every nation needs regardless of who reads it. Humble ourselves and call on Jesus.

The Old Testament is filled with representations of the one to come and they all failed on their end of the covenant until Jesus. We no longer need a representation to stand in the gap for us, we have access.

Your “Christianity” can’t be found more than a few hundred years ago and isn’t similar at all to the early Church. I understand that facts hurt your feelings but there’s no reason to make shite up and attack me personally just because you are incapable of a coherent response.

Good. I’m happy for you that you have your own thoughts and opinions on the vast subject. Thanks for sharing. I respect that. Now don’t crumble it up and turn it into trash by pivoting to the assertion that anyone else must conform to the exact same line of reasoning, excepting of course if someone voluntarily joins you in thought and opinion.

I think it certainly pivoted into a personal attack but maybe that wasn’t your intent. I don’t take the personal attacks personally. Most of them are well intended and just communication flaws from someone trying to do/defend what they believe to be right.
My question earlier about him being anti-Christian was a legitimate question. I have not read this entire thread. Additionally, people carryover animosity and feelings from other threads so figured it might have been just a history there that I didn’t know about.
I’ll openly admit I do get pissed when I feel people are attacking what I believe to be Christ’s Church. Some are just misunderstandings but a few on here are just disingenuous.
