The bigger question would be if Obama lied about his past on applications for college to get ahead. It seems to matter regarding Elizabeth Warren.

I think this is the key. I believe he was born in Hawaii, but used his fathers Kenyan past to get ahead and quite possibly claimed he was born in Kenya for this purpose.
