Who can take this seriously if Trump is naming Witkoff and Kushner instead of Rubio as the key negotiators.
It’s mind blowing that Congress or the American people sit back and accept such a lack of sincerity.
Because “very strong talks” does not mean anything at all.
I certainly doubt the Iranian regime respects the hardball negotiation skills of those 2.
Witkoff has already stated he takes Putin at his word that Russia is not supporting Iran with Intelligence and/or weapons.
Kushner is basically the guy who collects the bag of money. He doesn’t strike fear.
Let’s have them explain how productive the talks have been then…

Yep. It’s the same people that did the same thing for Hamas a couple years ago.
Idk who they are or who’s funding it but , if they meant to be subtle or at least Not obvious on what they’re doing, they’re really bad at it.

Just yesterday you were saying that pulling out of there and leaving it to Iran's neighbors was the best case scenario.
IF the regime collapses. We would need to successfully engineer or support a coup under the radar.

Sad state of affairs when Iranian propaganda is more believable than our president

Well yeah. But the thing is, it has pretty much already collapsed. This entire thread is pretty much proof that that has already happened.

It’s sunk cost.
I agree with every single point you made in this post, and it’s the best decision available.
The point I’m making is we aren’t getting hardly any bang for our buck, it makes it look like we didn’t have a plan, and it makes 90% of Trump’s moves on Iran look like getting played by Bibi or strategic / long-term Ls in retrospect.
So sure, frick it… I certainly prefer getting out of there to a drawn out quagmire. But also, it’s almost undeniable now this was a mistake to begin with.

It’s not DU anything. Witkoff is a real estate broker. Out of his depth.
Do you have any comment on Witkoff saying he takes Putin at his word?
All while everyone else says, no, we don’t take Putin at his word…

What? He told you exactly what the plan was from the very beginning. To go in, destroy their military capabilities, and to leave it to the Iranian people to overthrow their oppressive regime. He outright said this is what he was going to do. He also said that they planned on the operation lasting about 4 weeks.
No plan? From everything I'm hearing, they are doing precisely what they said they were going to do.

My point is the overuse of Quagmire, Peter.
Same clowns using double tap.

Looks like the plan now is back out, declare victory, and just cross our fingers for regime change?
you must have missed his reply to a question shortly after this question about if they negotiations fail.... Trump said "then we will just keep bombing pur little hearts out"
quote:
He says if the postponement of strikes goes well "we're going to end up with settling this - otherwise, we'll just keep bombing our little hearts out"
